Have any of you ever done extensive java audio programming? I'm working on a fairly involved program for doing some sample manipulation similar to sonic foundry's "Acid" and I'm running into a few problems. The main thing is that right now I am trying to synchronize audio samples by playing each in seperate threads, but I'm finding that with threads, even if you tell multiple threads to start and stop at the same time (or as close to the same time as possible: different iterations of the same for loop) there are slight variances in start times, etc.
Any help will be apprecited.
