Role: WebSphere Commerce Consultant
No Positions: 6 (WCS ADMIN/Developer and Architect)
Location: East / Central / Canada
Work Type: Full-time Regular / Contract
Travel: Upto 50% - 70% (For Full-time positions only)
What do you bring to the table? IBM WebSphere Commerce v6/7, Java/J2EE, JSP, EJB, Spring, Struts, XML, XSLT, ETL, EDI, SQL.
What You Will Be Doing?
1) Commerce Architect - This is a resource who is capable of designing and architecting a solution with WebSphere Commerce. They should have a back ground in Commerce development and still hands on. Key tasks will include working with the business to elicit requirements, translating requirements into technical specs and then guiding the developers.
2) Commerce Administrator - This is a resource who is skill at commerce administration. Tasks include: installing and configured new instances of commerce, changing the configuration of existing servers and performance tuning.
3) Commerce Developer - This is a mid-level commerce developer who has 2 to 3 year’s experience coding in a WebSphere Commerce environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required / WCS certification is a PLUS
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Excellent organizational skills
Self-motivation and a desire for on-going learning
Ability to work under pressure
Interest in working with leading edge technology
